City Lights Kids is the children's program of Melbourne Lights Church. We provide jam-packed programs that are Bible-based, highly interactive and heaps of fun for everyone (including our volunteers!). Our program runs on Sunday mornings during our meeting.

Kids Program Age Groups:

​

Mini Lights: 18 months - 3 years

Little Lights: 3 year old kinder and 4 year old kinder

City Lights: Prep - Grade 6

We want to encourage the children to:

Have fun 

Know God personally

Discover their God-given identity

Grow in their relationship with Him

Be a shining light to their families, friends and community

All of our volunteers have a current Working with Children's Check and are part of Melbourne Lights Church
Visitors are very welcome.  We would love to have you come along.

 

Information for your childs/rens first visit:

On your first visit to City Lights Kids, you will complete a brief registration form for your children.

Our friendly volunteer staff will greet you, assist you with the sign in process,

take your child to their rooms and introduce them to the caregiver.

Each child will receive a numbered sticker and guardians will receive the corresponding number to be shown at sign out.

At City Lights kids there are three main sections:

 

Mini Lights: 
Mini Lights is for children from 18 months - 3 years of age.
Mini Lights have lots of playtime and nurturing with a couple of planned activities throughout the morning.
They are encouraged to bring a clearly labelled (healthy and nut free) snack and water bottle.
 

Little Lights: 
Little Lights is for children attending 3 year old kinder to 4 year old Kindergarten.
Little Lights have lots of playtime and nurturing with a couple of planned activities throughout the morning,

including worship and a bible based story.
They are encouraged to bring a clearly labeled (healthy and nut free) snack and water bottle.
 

City Lights Kids:
City Lights Kids is for Primary school aged children.
Upon check in they will go to their room where they have their own worship time,

lesson from the bible, games, small group discussion and prayer time.

Tips and Reminders:

Our rooms open from 9:55am
For their own safety please do not allow your kids into the rooms unsupervised
Please take toilet trained children to the bathrooms before checking them in
Label your children's belongings
We discourage children from bringing their own toys, as it is easy for them to become misplaced or forgotten
